Le répertoire musical est principalement puisé parmi les albums parus durant l’époque maquillée de KISS.Phantoms Of The Park fût fondée à l’été 2000 par Jean-Pierre Tremblay dans le rôle de Ace Frehley. François Gagné dans le rôle de Paul Stanley, Don dans le rôle de Gene Simmons et Daniel Descôteaux dans le rôle de Peter Criss completèrent le quatuor.Le nom de "Phantoms Of The Park" (nom qui fût trouvé par Stéphane Gaudet, premier personnificateur de ''Gene Simmons'') fait référence à "KISS meets the phantom of the park", un film de science fiction tourné pour la télévision en 1978 dans lequel KISS était en vedette.La passion des musiciens pour leurs idoles, fait ressortir dans l’hommage l’énergie et la naïveté que KISS dégageait à ses débuts alors qu’il conquît le monde entier.
