Big Phil is back on top this year and getting primed for IWA's upcoming TV Series. He hopes his sensational eagle tattoo on his chest will be a TV ratings winner. Picasso is a veteran who has competed with IWA since 1998.
Birdman, as he is also known, began his career as Ty Townsend's bodyguard in Mega Pro Wrestling back in 1995. Phil has also competed with APW,PCW Melbourne and became Champion of Skyhawk’s ill fated OWA Darwin Tour in September 2005. Picasso is a 4 time former IWA Heavyweight Champion and 2 time former Trans Tasman Champion.
Self professed ‘King of Aussie Biffo’ and a veteran of over 300 bouts. Picasso has appeared on the TV several times for the IWA, also seen on Discovery Channels Lonely Planet show and most recently on ABC TV’s top rating show ‘My Favorite Film’, Juice & Penthouse magazines plus loads of newspapers.
Also remembered in the 20 man battle royal at The 1st Australian Wrestling Supershow 2002. A wrestler with an imposing physical presence and such crazy, unorthodox pro-wrestling moves. He's absolutely huge, covered in tattoos and completely and utterly mad. His body is rock hard & chiseled out. Fans respond well to Picasso's antics and his unique style of wrestling.

Phil Picasso is also known as the king of DVD’s. His personalised wrestling DVDs sell like hot cakes on a cold day. And yes... after 8 years in wrestling the Birdman still likes to experience pain !
His injuries have lead to knee surgery and reconstruction, he has been burned by boiling water and hit by a car. Picasso defeated Salem this year for the IWA Trans Tasman Championship and still insists that his opponents to hit him harder.
