About Me

I have a new baby! I rescued a toy poodle named Gabrielle (Gabby). She lived in a cage for 7 years and is afraid of pretty much everything. She is super sweet. Xena is a little jealous, but is adjusting.I am a sagitarius and a princess. I have an amazing network of friends who would expect nothing less! On the family front: My mom continues to amaze me with her strength. She continues to run the business with my brother-Victor. They also worked hard to clean up the property-it looks amazing! Angie is still with her first-graders in the dual immersion program in Winters. She is a dedicated and caring teacher. Rayna is almost ten and loves to read! Antonio is almost six and is still a crack up! He is so full of energy and loves dogs. Xena growls less at him now that he's older. My mom's dog, Honey Bear-a 1/5 year old sheltie/golden retriever mix, is great for Tonio. Brenda is working braiding/selling her beaded ornaments at various faires. Evy is hilarious. She is almost four and is quite the charmer. Jenna is 2 and awesome! She is always smiling, even when tired! She is loud and stubborn and LOVES to talk. I see debate in her future.I consider my politics to be progressive, I'm queer, and I try to resist binaries: I fail. I am trying to be active in the peace movement. I am a member of gold star families for peace and military families speak out. I am a professional student and have taught at City College of San Francisco during the summers and love it.
