About Me

New stuff? Yes. Good stuff? I don't know. It's just my stuff. I like what I do, but I'm not exactly setting out to be Alicia Keyes or anything. It's just me being me - for better or worse. I like to try different things. I also like to improvise and write on the fly. If there is a mistake (or laughing in the background) I usually leave it in if I like the part. So, yes, you can hear mistakes AND laughing in there once in a while. Again, me being me! Anyways, I hope you like it. MySpace Slideshow Upload Images Help! MySpace MySpace Editor Photo Collage

Band Members: It’s all me!Well, from time to time you will hear a few other people in the mix ... Josh Echo-Hawk, a bass player whose name I’ve honestly forgotten, Brent Gilbert, Jeff Harrington, and Dylan Ellefson (who loves to THINK he plays, but really just holds a ukulele and laughs a lot). There’s others, but some of this stuff is so old that I truly HAVE forgotten the names of some people. WAIT ... Justin Brown! There, I remembered one! Ah, good ’ol Justin.
Influences: When you figure it out ........ tell me!!!! I don’t know, maybe Tim Reynolds, Django Rheinhardt, Jason Starkey, anybody talented that plays an instrument, birds, stars, a day without clouds, that kid from Napolean Dynamite, peanut butter, any pizza place that still has a pipe organ, girls that wear no makeup, the Western Pond Turtle. I don’t know if I’m getting better or worse, because sometimes I can get excited about music from listening to those people just learning an instrument who decide to go to music stores and turn it up at alarming volumes. At the same time, that excitement only lasts for a couple of seconds. There really should be rules at music stores. Does this mean I’m getting old?

The truth.

When one door closes, another opens. However, hell is in the hallway! So true.
