About Me
If I have not met you, I will not accept a friend request from you unless you send me a message first.
PLEASE read my page, BEFORE even CONSIDERING trying to add me. PLEASE don't try to add me if we don't have anything in common. I'd like FRIENDS not NUMBERS.
My AIM screen name can be found in my "Who I'd Like To Meet."
My name is Jessica G.
I am 19. I was born ass-backwards and purple on June 10th, 1989. People never can guess my age or ethnicity when they meet me, and rarely can they pronounce my last name right the first time. A few things to know about me are I adore the brand "Tokidoki", pretty much anything made by Disney, and I LOVE musicals! I take life as it comes and tend not to plan too far ahead, as I trust things will work out as they're meant. I'm one of the least weeaboo weeaboos you'll meet, as a majority of my interests are of Japanese origin, but it's still not much and I have very little interest in expanding my horizons. I go to every Anime Convention in California I can get to, where I sell prints, commissions, and hats. My heart belongs to the final boss beyond top tier of amazingness, Anton Torres~~ and last but not least, I am a Republican.
Cue pics are
awesommmme ^.^
If you want to know
more than that about
me, keep reading.
I'm a Cosplayer; I love to dress up and make my own costumes. I don't do costume commissions, because I'm not THAT good. I'm still learning. Most of my sewing is making hats
to sell online and at conventions.

Some life detail...
I like gaming in most any form. I used go to arcades on the weekends to play DDR, and/or practice Marvel vs Capcom2 and Street Fighter:Third Strike. The local arcades are fail nowadays, so my weekends are spent either working at EB Games/Gamestop, sleeping, or a random LA trip if not just late-night snacking at the local Denny's.
I love to spend my time in Los Angeles; One of my other jobs is working in LA, so I'm there very often. My favorite spots are Little Tokyo downtown, Diamond Plaza in Rowland Heights, Little Osaka in Beverly Hills, and Life Plaza in Alhambra. If it has Purikura or ParaPara Paradise, I'm in love with it. Or, of course, Disneyland!!! Yay!!
I am also a pikachu in my spare time.
DO NOT WANT
Things I don't like...
I am NOT a "party girl" (despite apparently looking like one). I'm not extremely social, I hate Drugs and Alcohol, and smoking is disgusting; I don't even like hearing about them. I prefer to not even associate with people who approve of it, but unfortunately society seems to revolve around that sort of thing, so it's hard to avoid.
I hate it when people try to talk to me about video games or anime, (this is usually when they're hitting on me, mind you), when they don't know ANYTHING about them. Like they'll say "Oh yeah, I used to watch that one japanese cartoon, uh, oh what is it? there is a ninja in it and he wears orange.."
It's even worse when they know one thing, but nothing else. Like this:
"Oh, you're drawing Chun Li! ...I like the game she is from... there were other characters like spiderman in it... But um.. No, I don't know how to play it."
Seriously I can't STAND that. Just as bad is when they say they're gamers, and invite me to their place to play Madden 08 on their 40gb PS3. I think I've pretty much covered the main bases, so, other than the peeves, I'm arachniphobic.
About the Con Artist
I draw, but it is mainly for leisure, it kind of irritates me--and I get this alot--when people say "That's awesome! Now when are you going to draw me? :D" Hmm.. If you wanna buy it, then anytime!
I'm the official artist for Anime Los Angeles , and I've been working with them since 2007. My style is heavily Anime-influenced, thought I have my own sort of spin on it, and I'm pretty versatile in anime styles. I don't do animation, or do comics, because I really don't like drawing the same thing over and over and over again in sequence.
My art is another source of income (BG work in LA, working at EB, then Convention Art Tables.) I used to fill up entire sketchbooks in three months or less, and I have a stack of them in my drawer from like, 2003-2005. I've been posting bits of my art in the box below since The beginning of 07. If you want more of a gallery view, visit http://JessicaG.sheezyart.com :)
