Geology! *nerd alert* more specifically paleontology. I also like atmospheric science/severe weather when there are no math problems involved. When I have a lot of spare time I like to read, paint and watch movies.
Fiona Apple is my favorite, I also enjoy Jann Arden, Brandi Carlile, Regina Spektor, No Doubt, Evanescence, Matchbox Twenty, 80's music, and more that I can't think of right now because I'm too lazy.
The video below is Brandi Carlile here in Seattle 11-2-07. You should really mute whatever stupid profile song I have playing and watch the video...she's fantastic!

Arrested Development, Friends, Family Guy!, Scrubs, CSI (the original one), Stargate SG-1, Roseanne, Reno 911, Mythbusters, Grey's Anatomy, Deadliest Catch, and Food Network stuff even though I can't cook.
I do enjoy Chic-Lit including a lot of Jennifer Weiner's books and also Cathy Kelly (if you haven't read her stuff it's great!). I do enjoy other novels as well. I just finished "Snowflower and the Secret Fan" by Lisa See and it was fantastic! So was The Thirteenth Tale and Time Traveler's Wife. Jane Eyre is one of the classics I actually enjoyed. Oh and Wuthering Heights is one of the worst novels I've ever attempted to read.
