Briggzi Boy's story begins much like your typical hip-hop story. He was born and raised and currently resides in Manchester, England, he grew as part of a struggling one parent family with very little funds...blah, blah, blah. But Briggzi Boy is anything but your typical rapper. While some of his biggest influences are hip-hop greats like Rakim, Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane, the harsh realities of his life also drew him to the sounds of bands like Slayer and Megadeth. Although he was able to recite all the lyrics to Slick Rick's "La-di-da-di" at 7 years old, he would also blast Metallica's "Kill Em All" out the window of his bedroom so all the kids in his area could hear it.
Beyond being just an artist, Briggzi Boy is a true businessman. While setting up one of Manchester’s finest underground hip hop grounds ‘United Blood’. He also set up his own clothing/distribution label called ‘B-Boy Brand’. Which specializes in hip hop/metal style clothing and merchandising as well putting out albums and special limited edition shirts for selected bands/artists? The label is also known for its yearly tour called ‘Bring the Noise’, that travels up and down the UK and features some of the best live music around. He is the street version of Richard Branson, Tony Wilson, Russell Simmons, and Gene Simmons all combined.
