"The Venue", upstairs at the Market Inn Ayr, is Ayrshire's most exciting new music venture - bringing out the best in local live music and providing a place for established and upcoming acts from across Scotland & beyond to perform.
The Acoustic Unplugged Club started in 2005 with the Plugged Club for bands following in 2006 - both popular events - and 2007 sees the launch of "The Venue", with a monthly programme of music (see listings). This also includes Special Guest Gigs which feature a profesional act supported by local artists.
All tickets sold on the door. (See listing for price.)
Numbers are limited to 65 at the Unplugged (seated), and 100 at Plugged (standing and upstairs bar), so come early to avoid disappointment.
Doors open at 8.30 and all gigs finish by 12.30 (unless otherwise stated).
