About Me

When I was a child I did a lot of fishing. I grew up on a river so most days would find me taking the canoe out and waiting for the fish to come. There was such a stillness in waiting out there. The silence was so expansive. Most days I woundn’t catch a thing but the meditation on the water kept calling be back. And It felt as if I was coming home with something of value regardless of the catch, something bigger.

These days I write songs, but in much the same way. You can find me in a tree, on a bike or train, or in my house late at night waiting, waiting for a word from the Lord. The way I see it, any song worth singing has got to come from somewhere else, from the unseen dimensions. These are the songs that speak to our spirits, the ones that feed us and resonate deep within our true selves.

These are the ones worth singing.
