Her first contact with D'n'B would not have led to believe that one day she would become a bass addict. In 2003 at one of the many Zoo Drum'n'Bass nights (Geneva), Ly One has a revelation and is permanently converted! She starts to get interested in the events and DJs who tour the scene, amongst them of course, pioneers of the genre: the London producers. Seeing them having a ball behind their turntables she felt like getting up there and doing the same! So that was that! 2 MK2s, an amp, speakers and a mixer, she heads off to buy her first records.. After two years of mixing at home, she felt like trying it out in front of a crowd. An opportunity came up to organize the line up on the Drum'n'Bass float during the 2006 Lake Parade so she used it to book DJs from Loccomotion, Aquio and Neurocide as well as make time for her first live set! Since then she has had the privilege of mixing in many different clubs including the Zoo and Kab in Geneva side by side with such household names as Bad Company, DJ Die, Ben Westbeech, Pendulum and Klute.
