BEFORE EVERYTHING I WANT TO MENTION THAT THIS SITE IS FAN PAGE AND THIS BAND DOESNT EXIST ANYMORE...IT´s IN OUR MINDS (fans) BUT THAT´s ALL UNFORTUNATELY... WE WON´T LET IT DIE BECAUSE THEY ARE HELL WORTH OF IT .
The band "Seelenkrank" was formed in the year 1996 by Mr.Chris Pohl in Berlin.He is the creator of the bands like Terminal Choice ,Blutengel,Tumor etc. The idea of creating the band like this was Pohl´s interest in thems which were really more /less tabbu in some places..Before the making of Terminal Choice which is his main and first project ,he was Dj in clubs and was also interested in good electro sound.In that time he wanted to explore humans vision about these themes S/M ,fetisch,blood,fire and all that in electrical /gothic way.WHo ever possesed any of cds from Seelenkrank ,can noticed what its all about! In the year of 1996 the band published first album " Silent Pleasures".The songs that prmised a lot were "Black Goddes " , " Domina dance ", "Lady vampire","Lost" , "Purgatory " and many many others. .In this album he worked on the questions of sex, black romance,fetisch, hardcore etc.The incommon spot to both album is "vampire thematic"..In both albums he sings about vampire life, evil and creatures that drinks blood. The second album "Engelsschrei" ( Angel´s Scream ) was released in 1997.Here was the "Meister der verbotenen Träume " the card that brought the band in lots of clubs . The band was known by high perfected and professonal performances during singing.The dark light, naked bodies, blood,whipping, stripping,pain ,pleasure, boots and high heels, domination and the power in the bodies were the main known signs of Seelenkrank´s live performance.The band doesnt excist anymore.Why they fell apart ,noone knows...according to Blutenge´s official page ,Chris had lots of problems in that time ,so that he simply had to finish that era.The members of this band were Nina Bendigkeit and Chris Pohl ..They were both vocalists and of course life performers with help of others.The second member was Doro.He was there for live performance the most! The Project that Chris created after Seelenkrank was Blutengel.It was only the countinous work of Mr. Pohl only with some other changes.SO we can easy say that Blutengel was created under he influence of Seelenkrank!NIna Bendigkeit sang the vocals in the fist album of Blutengel called "Child of the glass" 1999. The Pohls record label "Fear Section" published the releases of the both albums "Engellschrei " and " Silent Pleasures " with new pictures and background ,which were by the way worked from Annie Bertam. That was the era of Seelenkrank ( Soul sicker , Soulpain)Hope all the cool fans will at least enjoying the good music and remembering on the days we enjoyed watching this band ...altough it wasnt famous worldwide in that time !!!!!
