The band has seen many members come and go and used 2 be known as Underdose until they realised it was the namesake of a band in America. The previous members of the band played several gigs at the Meze Lounge etc and participated in a Battle of the bands also.In December mark, Nick H, Nick T and Rhys were joined by Richie on vocals. At this point the name of the band became Along the Line of Ruin! The band got on like a house on fire straight away and Tiara of Blades was made in the first practice with the new vocalist! Every member was really excited about the propects for the future! Gigs were immediately booked as practices continued!First gig was in le Pub with the Drowning and 32-A and a set including covers was played! ATLOR tracks including Tiara of Blades, The Abscess Lies Within and Empathise were performed! Numerous other gigs were played in the next few months including sets at TJs and the 5 Alls etc!In the next few months the band started moving further afield to places such as Exeter and Powys and more songs were written such as Severance of peace and upon the path of Sacrilege! A month break was approaching and ATLOR had a month of gigs lined up, the last one being in the Purple turtle in reading and also a trip to the studio booked! At this gig the set went down a treat and this is where the band were spotted by Velocity recordings! During the recording at Blossom Studio the tracks upon the Path of Sacrilege , Stitch of Ascendance, Tiara of Blades and Severence of Peace were recorded!We have now come back from the break completely refreshed and the new songs are flying out! We believe we have finally found that unique sound we are looking for and music is flowing out! We can also announce that we have been signed to Velocity recordings in Reading!In March of 2008 the band parted ways with the Drummer for personal reasons and after numerous auditions hooked up with ex TNO drummer Grub.
