Festschrift

About Me

Festschrift is a space rock studio band based in Berkeley. We like it loud and cosmic.

Tom McMurdo has performed with experimental band Hypocrites in the Pews and several other bands. He was lead singer for the mid-80s hardcore band Seeds of Power, who played bills with notable members of the 80s Lexington hardcore scene such as Active Ingredients, Happy Death, and December's Children.

Heather helped found radio station WRFL in Lexington, KY. She was an inaugural disc jockey at the station and specialized in underground music. Tom also worked as a DJ playing psychedelic and progressive music on WRFL from 1988 to the mid 1990s before departing for California.
