I was born in Detmold , Germany where I lived until the age of 32 when I fell in love. So I left my family and all my friends, quit my job and moved to Bucharest, Romania, where my wife lives, with everything I own including my two cats to start a new life in a city I visited only a few times before but I always liked a lot. I live in Bucharest now since July 2006 and I married my wife here later that very same month. Now I work as an Office Manager in a successful lawyer's office with nice people around.
Since 1996 I am the webmaster of Running Wild and the initiator, coordinator and co-booklet-designer of The Revivalry - A Tribute To Running Wild . I put much efforts into this first tribute-album and it took nearly 4 years from its main idea to its final release...but all this time was worth fighting for as I met new friends and got new contacts all around the world. Currently I am working on a biography about Running Wild and a second tribute-album which will be released in fall 2009.
In addition I am also writing for metal.de , Germany's largest and most-read Rock- and Metal webzine. I devote a large part of my free time to metal.de and I enjoy every single minute of it. Happily my wife supports my work and joins and helps me when- and wherever it's possible.
