The Anomalousz Music Group first started life in 2005 in the shape of Anomalousz Music.
Founded by the members of the UK band Enochian Theory, Anomalousz Music was used to release the bands earlier material and solo projects. Towards the end of 2006 Anomalousz Music made the commitment to expand and branch out within the industry.
At the start of 2007 the company changed its name to Anomalousz Music Records Ltd and at the same time signing a distribution deal with Code 7 and PHD (Plastic Head Distribution) for all official releases.
Over the first few months of 2007, Anomalousz Music Records went on to join hands with Plastic Head Media Distribution and branched out into Digital Download releases. Then the founders of the company sat round their big square table, and made some new commitments.
AMR-PR was started as the in house PR Company for Anomalousz Music Records Ltd, now allowing the label to work with up and coming artists to help build their profiles within the media.
AMR-Booking was also started to handle all touring related to Anomalousz Music’s artists, and would also see the company presenting a short UK tour in 2007.
After making the collective decision to merge all 3 companies under the Anomalousz Music name, The Anomalousz Music Group was born.
