About Me

real editor best profile tools real editor best profile tools
Matt has been writing and performing his music in bands and as a solo artist in N.Z. for over a decade. In 2007 Matt spent the summer in Wellington and the Kapiti coast playing and recording the 'Lost companions' E.P. 'Lost companions' was released August 2007 on local indie label Hometown Records N.Z.
Between band projects Matt has continued to write and play solo acoustic performances up and down the country. He is currently building material for his full length album, to be recorded in 2009. Matt’s writing continues to encompass a broad spectrum of influences from rock to folk, blues and country.
EP PRESS:
"In a nutshell, it delivers in every respect." Black Magazine (September 2007)
"The EP's standout track is definitely Give Up, which features the some of the richest, full-bodied harmony I've heard this side of the millennium." Real Groove (October 2007)
