About Me

Years back this really quiet, white guy showed up and on the inside of his upper arm was this ancient Persian painting of a warrior on his horse. Seeing how beautiful his tattoo was clarified for me that when I can afford a full head tattoo, the majority of the work will be in the style I have loved the most - that of ancient Persian art. I have been considering a head tattoo since about fifteen - sixteen years of age. I hope to soon have this done. Regarding the arts, there are writers, drawers, sewers, and other artists in my family. One place in arts I knew early on that I loved was dance in which i was quite gifted. I wasn't able to pursue such a course because my amazing family didn't have the financial means for all the lessons nor now do I have strong enough bones to consider any level of dance seriously as an adult. So of course I focused my schooling on other interests and am pretty sure at this point that after traveling abroad will turn toward becoming an acupuncturist physician, design shoes, and settle down to have a small farm/ranch of pygmy and nigerian dwarf goats, small alpacas, and garden. I want to learn how to make goat milk and cheese, make cashmere yarn, and bake. Essentially, I am interested in growing most of my own food and selling animal products in a sustainable manner - that goes for the shoes as well. I have multiple interests: reading, skiing, imagery, cultural conceptions of storytelling, and fashion - The major designers/houses whose work I admire are - Alice Temperley, Bottega Venneta, Eli Saab, Doo Ri, J. Mendel, Andrew Gyn, Ports, Mattew Williamson, and Alberta Ferretti, veterans amongst the many surfacing talented newcomers. I adore simple but well structured clothing with clean lines like those from the 1920's-50's era in Hong Kong and for shoes I love Indian/Roman sandals. I dig high heels with thin backs but really don't like closing my feet in, unless its in an originally made Italian-cut riding boot (love the attire from Out of Africa). Of all the clothing items to desire - one day I hope to have my own bull fighters outfit. For literature I love many writers, Shakespeare is one whose humour I greatly admire and I enjoy discussing a well done film of Shakespeare's plays. One of the more significant movie scenes for me is from Romeo and Juliet when the camera drops to the ground as Tybalt (superbly played by John Leguizamo) steps out of his hot car and swiftly crushes his cig by the flash of his steel cat boot. The vibrancy of his tension, sexuality, and passion is well captured in this shot. More things about me - I like to go on long walks and play boule. I'm pretty sure that I can't play a musical instrument to save my life, but I am one hell of a dancer! I strongly do not believe in religious conceptions, I place my cards down on science - that life in and of itself is spiritual. Currently, I am living with my sister in Montana - paying off debt and getting ready to move to and hopefully West LA or mid-Italy region. Above all other things I want to travel abroad soon. Top places to visit are; all over Italy, Spain to see Gaudi's work, eat well, and take a few flamenco classes, the Basque lands, and southern France. Not interested in Paris, much more interested in the Roman ruins in southern France (they built extensive water/gravity based grain mills in these hilly areas due to the southern french/basque people being difficult to enslave and not very populous as a whole). The next places would be mountainous parts of Tibet, all over Australia, southern Ireland, Greece, Turkey, the forested and coastal parts of Thailand, southern India, Burma, Nepal and various small tropical islands for their unique plant, wildlife, and bird populations. I would love to visit the smaller islands around Guyana and the Bahamas (want to see the bird sanctuary and the hydroponic farms), the Micronesia islands, and island hop off the coast of western Italy and mid-south western Africa. And am interested in visiting the southern reserves of Africa so I can watch elephants and visit the Amazon jungle in SA before it disappears or looses its original flora/fauna to colonized planting. However, I believe that there are some areas of the earth that humans should not visit or disturb, such as lands sacred to indigenous peoples and fragile environments like Mount Everest, certain islands, etc. About "the future" - I am considering the idea of marriage one day but not any time soon, for I need to spend more time learning of who I am and traveling around, but I do want to find a husband or possibly a woman who is a decent, intelligent, ethical, sensitive person. someone who works on understanding themselves well and isnt afraid to expect challenges from others on a profoundly personal, vulnerable level, who strives to take a critical look at social behavior and systems. Someone who is creative in a variety of ways without needing to show off their talents.   I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Above all else - probably Devon Mihesuah. And at this point in my life - the Italian - Claudio Corallo - to visit him on his plantation island and taste his ever devine chocolate and hopefully soon rum. Malalai Joya - the Afghan parliament women and advocate of Afghan women rights. Azar Nafisi, Natalie Angier, Audre Lourde, Bob Newhart (my favorite comedian), Judi Dench, Arundhati Roy, Ronald Takaki, Alice Walker, Sahar Khalifeh, June Jordan, the ever so grand Eartha Kitt, would love to sit down and chat with Paul Stamets, Chandra Talpade Mohanty, Jared Diamond, Chris Hedges, Maria Stewart (she is the first American woman to speak in public about politics, first publicly recognized Black feminist), the great photographer - Karen Kasmauski, James Dean, Pantea Rahmani, Maryam Javaheri, River Pheonix, Juliette Binoche, Maggie Cheung, Nawal El Saadawi, and J.Mendel and the designers behind Bottega Venetta. ************ I wish men wore fedora hats from the 1910's-1920's era, which make a man look absolutely stunning, complete. Watching men take off and place back on such hats, that smooth, sure motion is for me as sensual filled a moment as watching a ballet leap at its most graceful. Men that I find most attractive have dark features, strong brow and nose, sharp facial lines, a kindness and spark in their eyes and corners of their smile, usually italian, usually large grecco eyes, and dark hair with somewhat puffy lips, wide shoulders with long legs. There are many parts of a well maintained man's body I appreciate, but the one body part I am most interested in are hands: long fingers, with a somewhat slender wrist met by a large outer wrist bone, with somewhat large middle joints. I love Matt B's, Daniel Day Lewis' and Will Smith's hands. So beautiful - like Maudin's best art. Known men I find most attractive, #1 Mads Mikkelsen is the most beautiful man I have ever seen #2 Daniel Day Lewis and #3 Jean-Pierre Martins - looks just like Bapa when he was young in La Vie En Rose, the Argentinian-Italian Ivan de Pinea, Matthew Beach - the only blond I was ever attracted to and an old friend I miss, David Gandy, Ollie Edwards, Julien Quevenne, Owen Stuart, Robyn Sinclair, Mathias Lauridsen, Gabriel Hill, Clint Mauro, Luc Charles Olivier Merenda, and Derek in San Francisco - thank you for being loyal - though sometimes I wish otherwise!
