A Distant Relic

About Me

What's up everyone? My name is Mike, and thanks for checking out my site. I make music under the artist name of "A Distant Relic," and this page is dedicated to just that...hip hop. I put a lot of heart and soul into my writings, as it feels damn good and provides me with an avenue to express myself. Anyways, I have been doing it since I was in junior high, but started making my own albums in 1999 at Willowbrook High School. I put five tracks up, most of which will appear on the upcoming album, "Live." Producers on the tracks are in order as follows: Jack Rylands, Ras D, Dr. Dre (he's a big fan of Quid), Omens, and myself. I live in Villa Park, work in downtown Chicago and graduated from Elmhurst College, where I have an alumni radio show specializing in national and local hip hop artists. Check out my music and let me know what you think. And get at me know if you want to rock some shows together - I'm always down to perform around Chicagoland.Random facts about ADR: Co-host of "The Natural Progression" radio show. CHECK IT OUT AT WWW.WRSE.COM ON SUNDAY NIGHTS AT 7PM! Huge fan of comedy, traveling to new places, rollerblading & snowboarding, and being out on the lake catching some bass. I dig reruns of Fresh Prince, busting out some swing dancing and putting together a halloween costume that compels you to stop and shake my hand. Live...damnit...Live!
