About Me

..HUSH.. follows the final descent of Michael Rose, a college student troubled by an abusive past, haunted by his nightmares, and tortured by his ..other self... Michael spends his days playing music, hanging with his friend, JD, and thinking about his dead mother. Withdrawn from most social life, he falls for Isabel, a strong charismatic woman who works at the local video store.Torn between his feelings for Isabel, the voices in his head, and his fears of the apparitions that haunt his dreams; Michael plunges deeper into his own dark world where the line between insanity and reality blur. This thrill filled psycholgical drama features an array of phenomenal veteran talent mixed with extremely talented up and comers that will surely become household names in the very near future. The established talent starts with Courtney Gains, known most notably for his childhood role as Malachi in Stephen King's Children of the Corn. He's also starred in numerous films over the years including Can't Buy Me Love, opposite Patrick Dempsey, The Burbs, alongside Tom Hanks, Colors, with Sean Penn and Robert Duvall, and Sweet Home Alabama, opposite Reese Witherspoon and Josh Lucas. Recently he's co-starred in Rob Zombie's adaptation of the classic horror film Halloween, and an indie comedy which he co-wrote titled Benny Bliss and the Disciples of Greatness.Other screen vets in our cast include Reggie Bannister, known for his stellar work in the Phantasm horror film series, as well as other cult films like Bubba Ho-Tep. Currently, Reg can be seen starring in the latest Robert Kurtzman horror film titled The Rage, which stars Andrew "Wishmaster" Divoff and Erin "Misty Mundae" Brown.Joining him will be another film series vet in brilliant character actor Tony Todd, who's played a variety of characters in his career, some of his most notable work as Candyman in the popular horror film series, and the Coroner in the Final Destination films. He's also co-starred in blockbuster films like The Crow, The Rock, Platoon, and Caught Up.A veteran talent we plan to bring back into mainstream film is Bill Allen, known prominently for his role as Cru Jones in the cult classic 80's bicycle riding film Rad. He's also co-starred in feature films like Born of the Fourth of July, alongside Tom Cruise, and Sioux City, opposite Lou Diamond Philips. Bill can next be seen in the drama Felon alongside Val Kilmer, Stephen Dorff, Sam Shepherd, and Anne Archer. The younger cast core begins with the film's male lead, Fear of Clowns 2's Adam Ciesielski, then goes to the female lead, Brea Bee, followed by talented young upstart Clayton Myers. Also look out for the youngest of our cast member's to make major screen waves in thirteen year old Jeremy Zelig. Rounding out the ensemble are Vanessa Liu, Jessica Browne-White, Nina Fluke, Mark Lassise, Michael Cuddire, Jennifer Wiener, Warren Hemenway, Laura Lynn Cottrel, Mike Asoaka, Ira Hill, & Shelby Lackman. Filming began on August 18, 2007 in various locations in Southern New Jersey for 13 days, under the watchful eye of the film's writer/director, Amel J. Figueroa. The film was shot by actor/filmmaker/producer/cinematographer David Von Roehm (ningun.org), executed produced by Erick Ojeda, Steve and Desiree Bareizsis, and James C. Dean. The film was produced by Roehm, Figueroa, & Brandon E. Brooks, with the help of Mike Biaselli and Scott Parker of Off on a Tangent Productions. Editing is currently taking place, being done by a brilliant filmmaking and sound engineer soul in Christian Grillo (GGR Studio), with hopes for a potential spring 09' premiere. Here is the new trailer for TQO, created by Carmela Hayslett, who did a great job with it! Enjoy & stay tuned for more TQO updates!THE NEW TEASER FOR "HUSH" IS HERE! WATCH BELOW!
