Hello im DARWIN C. BOGAN and welcome to my bio!
For the special fans that need to know, I actually started at the tender age of three holding a broom stick and picking up my fathers band members guitars every chance i could, I was fascinated by the sound i heard, The music of JIMI HENDRIX and CARLOS SANTANA was always being played around me as i grew up.My musical horizon grew into a deep depth, i mean i heard in my head music being played in a whole new direction.I was very imaginitive, and what i hummed from my mouth i wanted the guitar to immulate... i also started venturing into other instruments like percussion, piano, various keyboards and the jewish harp the list goes on and on.At the age of 13 i did a charity concert with ROY AYERS on the zilaphone and HENRY MANCINI , in terre huat indiana they inspired me to pursue a career and increase my potential as a musician.At that time i was just playing an acoustic ovation in the guitar class i had met other players who turned me on to harder rock like BLACK SABBATH and JEFF BECK.I new i wanted to really play so i got into small bands. i remember (KEEPER) a band i played with back in CLEVEVLAND we were good we played some great venues what used to be FLASHES concert club in the Flats!you name it!i new i had to move on and play what i have always heard in my head my style i call DARWINISM...yes, thats what i would call my music a compilation of molodic heavy soft in youre face feel type of music that you could always remember and destinctively never forget!I never really was into todays programing and digital recorders too believe and see what i do. people say in this term, raw dogg playing from instinct!What i feel is what comes out with a God given blessed ear...
so with inspiration from my at that time small fan base i wanted to be bigger in sound and reach.to other ears who were digging what i was playing.I have been doing work with Roger Benedict Jr / B CRIBB a fantastic creative mind that is a force to reckoned with as a producer and songwriter!
in the past i did work with BYRON NEMETH who is a great guitar player in is own... both are in cleveland look'em up!Right now future plans are to pick up the pace and venture into a new and innovative direction in musical artistry!I am gonna keep on challenging my listeners and future listeners that come aboard my soundscape.thanks for reading and wanting to know the real DARWIN C.
