John Femia

So hi, this is me. The "legendary" John Femia. King of delusional grandeur, former child star (hardly), successful comedy producer (but still piss-poor), stand-up comedian (sometimes I just GOTTA siddown though), actor (in front of my mirror), dysfunctional writer (zsdax wghjtigudic), voice impressionist (I'm no Rich Little), potential politician (I'm no Jack Kennedy), porno junkie (but nothing made past 1984, when vagina-shaving & silicone breasts were mandatory), ambitious and fearless comedy pioneer (when I'm not comatose from anti-anxiety meds, or in a bar drunk and discouraged), and a loving, caring soul who despises society and everything about it. But not a bad guy to know.I've had this page up for awhile, and completely ignored it until recently. It was then explained to me that this is a great place to be, and apparently, everybody's doin' it these days. Well, that and having a MySpace page, so here I am.I've been doing stand-up comedy for more than 6 years, produced successful shows in several NYC comedy clubs, and am now in a transitional period of my life. This will be a year where I will attempt to make great artistic strides, or die trying. I also would like to increase my own talent network and meet some cool people...without having to wash my hands afterward. Oh yeah, and most importantly, it's the best way to let others know I'm not dead from a heroin overdose. ;) "Things are not as they seem. They are worse than that. They are also better than that."
