Barbados is one of Sweden's most popular bands. Songs such as Hold me, Belinda, Rosalita, Kom hem, Se mig, Allt som jag ser, Varlden utanfor and Bye Bye sounds familiar to many listeners. These songs are all examples of some of the original songs that's been recorded and performed by the band during their long career. So far they have managed to release eleven albums and more than fifteen singles. Their efforts have given them three Grammy awards, ten gold records and three platinum records. The group also participated in Sweden's nationals to the Eurovsision Song Contest four years in a row (2000-2003).Barbados is: Bjorn Lagerstrom - lead vocals, Mathias Lager - lead guitar & vocals, Peter Samuelsson - Bass & vocals, Håkan Sward - Synthesizer & background vocals, Magnus Wictorinsson - Drums and background vocals.The guys come from very different backgrounds and are influenced by many different genres, which makes them a very interesting constellation.Check out their new single: "Tid att gå vidare".
