Goth Help Us - Athens Texasâ„¢

Hello Everyone!!
"Goth Help Us" was founded in April 2006 and is a grassroots effort to help humanity. Hopefully we'll make the world realize that goths are not strange or odd people. We want to try to prove to everyone that goths are also compassionate and caring people. We also know that depression plagues many of us, and the only true way to rid yourself of depression is to go out and help other people.
We want to organize blood drives. We want to help the homeless. We want to make dreams come true for sick children. We want to help fund animal shelters. We just want to spread peace and stop the violence against goths. So we want to enlist your help. We want to more or less collaborate with already well-established charitable organizations, such as The Red Cross, The Humane Society, and Habitat for Humanity. We want to get goths involved with these organizations to show the world we are more than weird people in black clothing. But first things first. We need to grow a network. We need to be strong in numbers and volunteers, THEN we can get this show on the road. So please join us in this cause. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Let's show the world we DO matter, and that we ARE important. If we all work together, we can hopefully make the world realize that we also can make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.
And maybe by helping others, we'll find our smiles again.
