AWAITING THIS DESIRE Awaiting This Desire is a metalcore band out of St. Louis, MO that started in March of 2007. Each member is a Christian. We feel that each time we step on stage, it is just another opportunity to praise God in our own way.
The band has gone through many changes since November of 2007, but the current line up is stronger than ever...spiritually as well as musically. Sam Penner (guitar) and Justin Riley (drums) have joined the ranks and everyone is ready to take this band as far as it can go. Sam joined in January of 2008, and Justin just recently joined in March. We have already been very busy this summer. We just got done recording a new EP at Impact Studios in Mansfield, TX. The new EP is titled THE GREAT ASCENSION. We also had the great opportunity to get on a leg of a tour with Mychildren Mybride. These guys are awesome dudes and great musicians. Check em out if you havent. We will be hitting up Cornerstone in early July as well as a few dates around Missouri. Come August, we will be heading out on tour around the south/southeast for about a month. Please be praying for us (if youre the praying type)...it helps more than you know.
