,Professional Still Photography and Videoaugrapher Phylan Photography was founded in June of 2006 after being recruited by Grammy Nominated International Reggae Musician Pato Banton from London, UK. Mr. Banton saw and purchased some of my photos for his 2006 Stay Positive Tour, and hired me to Document his 2006 Album with the The Mystic Roots Band entitled Positive Vibrations. This Album was recorded and Produced by Spears and Co-produced by Bruce Fecteau (owner) at Studio B in Mission Viejo, Ca. I now work with Studio B and do photography and Video for any and all musicians who record there.
Originally started in high School with video production, photography, art and graphic design classes. By my senior year I was head camera operator and editor of my schools television program “Diablo Heat†at MVHS which is still being operated by my teacher Emmy Award Winner for 1992 Barcelona Olympics Mr. John Harnack.
In my Advanced Film and Productions ROP class under our teacher a Mrs. Tina Murphy our 1997 video project won California state awards and recognition. We all contributed as a class to a video in carrier advancement entitled “Key to Successâ€. My role in the video was: Camera operator, Non Linear editing, Writing, Video Production, Lighting and Sound technician.
I work mostly with musicians and athletes and graffiti artists my style represents california life (North and South), i dont limit myself tho i do all kinds of photography and video as well as web design Flash, Flash, Flash!!!(including pimping out your myspace) and graphic design (logos, pictures, flyers for upcommnig shows, animations, ect.). I also have a crew if u need multiple photographers and or Video. If u have any questions feel free to ask.
