About Me

My acoustic roots started 12 years ago, i moved down to Vail, Colorado to get a refreshed and new start on life. Camping along the Colorado river for two months i started writing new marterial that was heavily inspired by the surrounding beauty of the rocky mountains and spring time bloom. There is something so organic and beautiful when you strum an acoustic guitar in mother nature. Each chord, string and tone sounds unique. I am thankful for that experience. Thank you for taking the time to listen, I hope you enjoy these as much as i do.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Me, myself and I
Influences: My biggest acoustic influence would have to be Michael Hedges. I was fortunate to see him twice before his life was cut short, he was involved in a car accident up in Mendoncino County. When he played his first song of the night, Ariel Bounderies tears rolled down my face, never had i heard something so beautiful and real. Thank you, Michael for you music. Al DiMeola was a guitarist that made a huge mark in the 70's. My father, Ron bought Elegant gypsy in 1977, while the Rolling Stones and Led Zepplin were his and my sisters main interests, this album gave me goosebumps. It was much later that i heard him on an Ovation acoustic electric. His arpeggiated rhythms and lightning fast runs excited and challanged me. Third would be the beautiful Ani Difranco. I saw her in a small venue in Vail, CO. during my river camping days in 1995. Open tunings and brutal honest lyrics from such a beautiful person. I am so happy to have seen her in this small club because later on i saw her at the Britt Festivals in Jacksonville, Oregon. Although it was a great performance the intimacy was lost. She is one of the most passionate performers i've ever seen.
Sounds Like: SANTINI is my tribute to two guitarists that inspired and shaped my sound, Joe Satriani and Carlos Santana. Good Morning Geneva was written for my niece, Geneva on her 2nd birthday. Second Hour was written with my friend, Evan Davidson in our old band, Synesthesia.
Record Label: Yea, Right!
