About Me

I come from a musical and creative family. When I was ten, I asked my father who was a jazz percussionist, to teach me to play the drums. My grandmother suggested that I should play something more lady-like... My parents bought my first piano, and I studied for about a year until they divorced. That is probably when I really started to pour myself into my writing. It wasn't until about 1998 that I taught myself to play chords by ear. Once I did that my music grew at a phenomenal pace.
