About Me

Austin, TX-based singer-songwriter Terri Fann is coffeehouse country: a freshly roasted blend of acoustic guitar, full-bodied lyrics, fun melodies, and home-grown rhythm and harmonies. She serves it up with a warm stage presence that will make you want to laugh, cry, and listen to the last drop.

Terri picked up piano at 4, flute at 10, and in high school led the flute section and choreographed the flag corps' routines. After college she taught country dance, learned guitar, and began writing.
By 30 a decision to quit smoking revealed an on-pitch, multi-octave voice that led her to sing first soprano in civic and church choirs, record alto lead and back-up vocals for-hire, and solo on stages in TX and TN.
Today, Terri's singer-songwriter resume includes a variety of venues, co-performers and writers, publishing contracts, awards, cuts, and songs. For fun she loves to dance with her husband (a handsome west-coast swing/country dance instructor) and daughter (Hannah Montana - look out!). Terri also runs an engineering practice and writes reviews and how-to articles for magazines.

Her acoustic live performances include country, folk, pop, oldies, gospel, holiday, and original material suitable for family-friendly or adult-only events: indoor or outdoor restaurants, weddings, pubs, stores, school festivals, coffee houses, and outdoor markets/festivals.
