New Music Comin' Soon!

About Me

Born In Some Hospital In Utah…But Raised All Over Florida(Clearwater ,St. Pete, Tampa, Miami ,Orlando),Lyrikal, Born Pete Williams, Was always Interested in music. With a Black Father and White Mom, He grew up listening to a wide variety of music, Rock Music, Oldies, R&B, etc…but Hip Hop music was like kin. Like most Artists, he started out writing poetry and short stories in elementary school, and by middle school he started to experiment with rap lyrics. He came Up With the name “Big Pete”, and started writing.. About this time he was Listening to Artists Like 2pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Outkast, Wu Tang Clan, The Notorious B.I.G., and more. As He got more into writing he knew that’s what he wanted to do for the rest of his life! Now, Lyrikal is also a producer, got his first keyboard at the age of 11, it was a cheap 50 dollar keyboard from Wal-Mart. He Would play it for hours, teaching himself how to play by listening to his favorite music and trying to recreate it. When he reached High school, He started Focusing more and more on music, so he started focusing less in school, and as soon as he turned 16 he dropped out and received his G.E.D. He then took a full time job at a local Pizza Hut as a cook so he can start pursuing his dream of being a Recording Artist. That Summer he started recording in a Home studio in Largo, FL, Called Leggacy Productions, it is there he learns his way around a studio environment, recording his first songs, ”Party Tonight”, “67 Cadillac”, “Wake N Bake”, and more. They were Defiantly not even close to good songs, but he could tell that he had something there, something that he could perfect and do what he loves. As the years went on, the music started getting better and better, and he started getting more knowledgeable of Song writing, and the workings of a low budget recording studio. After 2 years of recording in Largo, he decided to set up his own studio in his Garage. This made it possible for Lyrikal to get the hands on experience he needed to perfect his craft. He started working the grave yard shift at a Hess Gas Station in Clearwater, FL, working an average of 70-80 hours a week to save up enough money for a Keyboard and some recording equipment. He Then Started recording Songs Like “In My Eyes” “Wake N Bake pt 2”, and “AAAYYYY!!!!”. After that HE Quit his job to try and pursue a career in music. He Kept writing lyrics and composing Instrumentals, but soon ran out of money, so he had to get another job, this time working the grave yard shift at 7-11. He Heard about myspace in 2006 and Created a Account, but he wanted a change. So instead of being “Big Pete” he Created “Lyrikal. While he was working there, he got in contact with an old friend from school, Fellow Rapper F.E.T.U.S. Lyrikal Showed him his beats and he was impressed, so they started working on the F.E.T.U.S. album “Abortion Theory”. This was the first time he ever collaborated with anybody, so it was a learning experience. He Produced “The Switchblade Salute”, “Where U Sleep”, and “Crack”. At the same time, Lyrikal was Recording his own material, “We Runnin’ This”, “Waitin 2 Die”, and “Catch A Reason”. He would post up new music on the myspace page and slowly people would start to listen. On June 22, 2007, Lyrikal Performed for the first time at Pegasus Lounge in Tampa FL, as well as Hyping for F.E.T.U.S. H e started doing More shows at Pegasus and Started loving music more.
