Luca Greco

Pianist, singer, composer, arranger. He started playing piano by himself when he was five and took classical piano lessons about two years later. But his love for pop and black music made his interests moving from classical to modern very soon. As a teenager, he joined several funk jazz bands. He also improved his knowledge about electronic music and hard disk recording. When he was 17 he led his own jazz trio at Baronissi Jazz Festival, where he won a scholarship for Berklee Summer School at Umbria Jazz Clinics. There he met some great members of the international jazz scenario such as Giovanni Tommaso, Paul Schmelin, Jim Kelly and so on. During the latest years, he has joined the soul jazz band ESPOFIVE ( www.espofive.com ). At the moment, he..s working on a R&B album (at his own project studio) where he also plays electric bass and rhythm guitar.
