Rollmeoh602 is a sought after producer and a beat maker from Phoenix, Arizona. This Phoenix-based Producer has made a name for himself in all parts of the West Coast, Mid-West, and The Dirty South and on the East Coast. Starting out as a DJ for local house parties, and school dances, under the name as DJ Slice in the mid 80’s. After receiving a Numark studio mixer with a built in sampler from a fellow DJ partner on his birthday, he begun to sample and paste loops from other songs and changing the tempo he noticed he could make music.
From that day on he added MC to his DJ name and dropped the Slice and became MC/DJ Romeo. Since the early 90’s Romeo then changed his name to Rollmeoh using the 3 words Roll-Me-Oh then adding 602 at the end .Putting himself out from the rest, he has always renewed himself. In 1991 he started the local Record Label Ruthless In Phoenix Records (also known as R.I.P. Records) Never really making much of a name for himself, he kept at the music business one way after another. In March of 2000, Rollmeoh found his calling when he sold a beat that he had made 3 years prior to the meeting of a West Coast known rapper.
Since 2000 he has made beats with numerous local rappers from around Arizona and numerous mainstream artists. In 2007 Rollmeoh602 caught the ears of many A & R’s from Record Labels around the Nation and has been sought after for his new techno style club beats and his new found style of hip hop beats. He has become close friends with many local artists in the Phoenix area; Rollmeoh602 plans on working with them and help bring Phoenix to the main stream. One local rapper and pioneer of Arizona Hip Hop is close friend MC Magic. Which Rollmeoh meet back in the 90’s at the local swap meet. And another close friend and pioneer is Bookie. Rollmeoh strives for UNITY in the Arizona music community. To this day you can find Rollmeoh602 supporting local rappers one way or another, from going to a performance and filming or taking pictures, to promoting the artists, this is one producer who loves what he does and lives for it!
