I was born & raised in Long Island, NY, spent a year in San Francisco, CA & have recently moved to Colorado...beautiful State!! ;o) I think I knew at a very young age that music was the core of who I am. I’m not sure when I actually started singing but It’s quite possible it began soon after I mouthed my first words. I remember making up silly songs to sing around my house when I was little & then that evolved into singing along to any song playing on the radio. My parents bought me my first guitar when I was 7, but it wasn’t until I was 15 that I began to teach myself how to play. By that time I had already been writing poetry for a few years so it just became natural to integrate my writings into songs... which led to writing my first complete song with guitar & vocals at the age of 17, "My Private Demons".
My very first performance is something I will never forget...it was an open mic at the Tinker Street Cafe in Woodstock, NY, I was 18 & painfully shy so it took a little prodding to get me on that stage...but the moment I got up there and began strumming the first notes I never felt more comfortable in my whole life & that’s when I knew there was nothing else I would ever want to do more than play music!
It’s always kinda been just me & my guitar, but I’ve recently joined a band out here in Colorado, we call ourselves FootprinT. I’m looking forward to rocking in Colorado, keep a lookout for upcoming shows we’ll be doing in the area!! That’s pretty much my story, enjoy the music!! ;o)
