Aloha~~ I am 31.5 yrs old. I am from charleston, S.C. I miss that city~~ From Chuck town to Richmond VA to finish my nursing education. Now,I live on The Big Island of Hawaii:) I am loving it!! Sun, surf, lovin the laid back life. I am a Registered nurse with experience in Trauma and Surgery. I now am the Nurse Coordinator for the Big Island teaching an HIV, TB, HEP ABC prevention program. I travel around the island teaching safe sex and safe drug using techniques. My office is in a methadone clinic called Ku Aloha Ola Mau. My office view is of Mauna Kea, the biggest mountain in the world from the ocean floor up. It is about 32,000 feet high and sometimes covered in snow!! I sometimes work in the dosing window, but mainly teach and test/draw blood for diseases. I LOVE my job. It is very rewarding to help people with addiction and really understand it.I dream big. I am very happy to be living on the wonderfull land of Hawaii. This island ROCKS!!!Any old friends holla at me!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~RUGBY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I have to add a lil something about my doggy~ Rugby is 11 years old. 5 years ago he was hit by a car. He sustained a spinal cord injury and rear end paralysis. Since, he has regained alot of movement in his legs. Not enough to walk as before. He uses his "wheelchair", "cart" to cruise around. He is FAST in it and he makes people smile. He is also a certified therapy dog. In the hospital where I used to work, he and I would go for visits to see sick people who love dogs, but can't go home. Rugby has been a huge part of my life, and he is a awesome dog! He is my heart.
