Harry Filkin lead the original 70's Holme line up, and can also claim fame to coming up with the name for the band. After enjoying great success in New Jersey's top cover group, Harry and Bobby Bandiera left to form Cats On A Smooth Surface; The Stone Pony's very own house band who were often joined onstage by Bruce Springsteen. Harry also teamed up with Joel Krauss to front the Diamonds.Billy Morris also enjoyed an early career as a full time musician, leading the Intoxicados and The Courteous Drivers, and having been friends with Holme for years, was asked to join the band when they reformed in 2004.In addition to appearing as a duo, Harry and Billy are often joined by acclaimed musicians such as Kevin Kavanaugh and Joel Krauss.
