Myspace Layouts Evangelist Anita Yvonne Dixon accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the early age of eleven and was baptized in the Holy Ghost when she was twelve years old. She was educated in the New Castle, PA. School System, attended Shenango Valley Business College in Sharon, PA and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology. She is the proprietor of Designer Dimensions, a women and childrens clothing store, and is co-host of The Prophetic Hour an internet radio program and was featured in the premiere edition of Elect Lady Magazine. Anita has served faithfully for thirty two years, as a member of the Church in the Round Church of God in Christ, in Aliquippa, PA, under the prodigious leadership of her Pastor, Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr. In her local church, she serves as First Vice-President of the Evangelist Missionary Board, Co-Chairperson of the May I Present Jesus To You Evangelistic Outreach Ministry and she is a member of the Prison Ministry. She serves the Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Pennsylvania as State Adjutant Sister and State President of Mattie McGlothen Rest Home Operational Expenses. Evangelist Dixon additionally serves the International Church of God in Christ as Director of Prison Ministry and she is also an instructor in the International Auxiliaries in Ministry (AIM) Convention. The joy of her life is to preach on the streets, in the prison or wherever her voice can be heard. She has preached on Skid Row in Los Angeles, Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Ground Zero in New York and Market Square in Pittsburgh and in the country of India to name a few places and she says that people ask the same question everywhere. How can I be free? Her endeavor is to answer this question as she preaches the Gospel to the poor, as she binds up the broken hearted; proclaims liberty to the captive and the opening of prison doors to them that are bound. She is impassioned to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness everywhere she goes according to Isaiah 61: 1 - 3. Her mission is to let God get the glory from her life. Once you experience her ministry, you will never be the same! God uses her jovial personality to change lives. She is a woman of tenacious faith, acuity and courage who dares to stand in the gap in intercessory prayer. She can be found anytime on the street or in the prison presenting the Gospel of the Kingdom to the lost.
