hello, my name is victor bustos, i have played and studied guitar for over 20 years. i guess you can say that i'm a rock guitar player with jazz tendencies. i have studied classical guitar, at what is now texas state university in san marcos, texas.
this is primarily where i can consolidate all the different projects that i'm in. you can check out some tunes, keep up with my playing calender!!!!
i'm very fortunate to get to play with some of texas' best talents like milhouse (hard rock fusion). and whenever we can get together i play in raisedbyaliens (anexperimentalinstrumentalfusionjazzrockpowertrio). in raisedbyaliens, i'm lucky to get to play with wayne wilburn, former assisstant and drum tech for terry bozzio, on drums.
i have been getting back into my classical/flamenco playing. getting some material together for some solo shows. i also hope to find some other people to play with!!!! musicians, as well as dancers.
most importantly, i'm very lucky to have a beautiful wife and two crazy!!!!! little boys in my life.
i also teach several guitar students, and i'm always looking for more!!!!!
