On September 14th, 2006 two MALPHATOR bandmates attended a CELTIC FROST concert at BB Kings. This show made quite an impact and plans were discussed to start a Blackened Metal project as 1349 performed onstage.
Their first song "Restless Souls" was conceived and took form on Halloween 2006, a most appropriate date indeed! MAJESTIC SEANCE was born out of a love of horror, the paranormal and all things dark and beautiful. The result is an eerie blend of brutality, melancholy and atmospheric epicness.
The name MAJESTIC SEANCE was suggested by Ricky to reflect the band's sound and lyrics.
The first album, a concept album dealing with themes relating to hauntings and possessions, is currently being written. A 3-song demo will be available soon.
In May 2007 MAJESTIC SEANCE joyfully welcomed Dani "Heretic" Robles as their bass player and vocalist.
The band is still seeking a keyboard player to complete the lineup.
