A WOMAN WITH A VOICE IN 2008:This is my 2008 thoughts on who I would like to meet. No guys, I am not another mad black woman, I'm just a disappointed one just like most of you guys are. You men/women know you are not treating people right. Than you'll be the same ones that are going out and talking about black women/men's attitudes. Black women/men we are the first to walk around with an attitude when we see our men/women with another race, my suggestion is that we get right. Black men you know we as black women work just as hard as you do, what makes you think that we don't have a voice/opinion? Well, women like myself, we do have one and we have the right to voice ours just like you do. It's not the 60's anymore, most of us are out here catching hell just like you. Some of you want a yes woman but that's not me but indeed I am a fair woman.I will give my all to that someone if only you would act right. There is a gentleman that I dated who is on My Space that I've known for 30 years. I worked very hard, 40+ hours a week and I waited on this man hand and feet. I moved from Florida to Michigan to be with him. He did not appreciate it, so you see where I am now, back in Florida. Again ask me where are the good black women?What amazes me is how most of you don't realize what you had until it's gone, just like some of us hard headed ass women. For example, this past holiday both of my exes called and want to re-kindle the flame. My question is why didn't you light it up when you had the opportunity? Alonda do not repeat once she gave a 100% efforts to that relationship, there is no such thing as 101% so what more do I have to give? All I have to say if you have a good man/woman appreciate them and hold on to them, don't wait until the holidays and start reminiscing . We are human not toys, even when you play with a toy too rough you can break/destroy it. Sometimes it can never be put back together again, just like Humpty Dumpty.There was a comment made to me recently, about me only wanting to date a blue collar worker. Does your collar make you a real man/woman or do you make yourself a real man/woman? My personal answer to that question is, you are who you are, you are either real/fake and just wasting another good man/woman's time.I'd like to meet someone who is honest/fun/open minded/with good communication skills/he only want one woman in his life and know what he wants to be when he grows up. I don't play games when it comes to a serious relationship nor do I want to share. If a friendship is what you want than friendship is what you'll get, not a part-time lover/booty-call, it won't happen. Don't get half-way through the relationship and want to shift gears, just say it's not working out and let's move on. You don't be have to put on a show for me, because if we date long enough the real you is going to come out anyway so be you, because I am definitely going to be me. My philosophy is: I don't want to keep anyone that don't want to kept and don't waste my time because I promise you, I'm damn sure am not going to waste yours. I can hold my own, therefore, I don't need your money because money won't buy either a real man/woman anyway nor happiness, all I want is your heart and for you to be real/honest. All I am asking is for someone to meet me 50% of the way and I will take it from there with my 50 % if not than I will give you 0 % because that's what you gave. I am who I am and I you to be who you are I'm not trying to change no-one. I have nothing to lose by telling the truth but I have everything to lose by telling a lie. The chances of me leaving Florida or even out of the Tampa Bay area is slim, you have to be one hell of a man for me to even consider it, been there done that as I mentioned earlier (moving to Michigan). Men always talk about their losses in previous relationship, guess what guys? We as women take a loss too, but not Alonda not again. So right now it is all about me and the man I select to be in my life. The bottom line is, say what you mean and mean what you say and it is what it is. I'm just an average woman that's looking for a real man, looks don't make you but your mind does, don't get it twisted looks is a plus but it's not everything. Life is too short for b/s and I have zero tolerance for it. I'm not desperate but at the same time I would like to enjoy life with that special someone. I live a stress-free/drama-free life and I am looking for someone who lives that type of life-style as well. I have all adult children so ,therefore, I have nothing to tie me down from doing what I want to do and going where I want to go. I don't smoke/party/drink nor do I have tattoos and don't advertise myself on these site, because I'm not for sale and no guys I'm not a BBW either. I work very hard to get what I want and I give 100% efforts to everything I do if I feel it's worth, that's in my personal/professional life. No more wasted time for Alonda in 2008 (IT'S ALL ABOUT ME/US). I know I'm going to make 2008 a wonderful year for me. Don't think I am Male bashing because I know there are some good men left out here is this world just like there are good women left too guys. I was dating a very good guy recently and even though he was good, he just wasn't for me (Sometimes people are here just for a Season) and you just have to know which one is here to stay and which ones are not. It doesn't mean they are a bad person, it's just sometimes the personality does not click and it happens.
