About Me

Burpintootin T Shirts is currently run by two brothers. Born and raised in Burpintootin, Ohio on their family's bean farm, the brothers learned the value of hard work at early age. Their childhood consisted of long days in the field herding the beans, and early mornings in the barn milking them. The beans were known throughout the region for their complex flavors, subtle textures, and fruity aromas. Many 4-H honors were bestowed upon them, and the family thrived. This continued for years and the family farm was a staple of the Burpintootin economy. That was until '86, when the bean cicadas swept through and devoured everything in their path.The farm was gone, the family in financial ruin. Their father sold their two prize breeding beans and bought a pontoon. That pontoon was their home for the next 10 years on the burpintootin river. The burpintootin was beautiful and amazing, but they had to dock on the south side of the river every night. The brothers don't like to talk about those years....After the war, Burpintootin thrived and jobs were abundant. Colonel Glervin took the brothers under his wing and showed them the ropes. When he got sick, he passed them the torch. The brothers now run the Burpintootin Shirt company.
