DJ GAETAN SCOTT Born in Nancy, France on 29th OCTOBER 1973. After years of obsession with music, Gaetan bought himself some decks for Christmas... Surrounded by other music lovers such as the established Dj Slamma and Antoine909, Gaetan became addicted to spinning records and spent most of his time mixing music. His pleasure comes when mixing all genres together, Underground House, funky, disco, electro, techno, minimal, as long as the vibe is uplifting and has a sexy flow! Let's call it Fusion of colours! Thanks to Dj Slamma, Gaetan learnt to produce his first track, called ''untitled'' ! He quotes ''Can't be bothered with giving my tracks a name, It is about the sound and not giving it a label!'' . Gaetan has just released a remix of Slamma's Malika, a minimal version of it and has been naughty by doing a bootleg of DEUX vs Shapeshifters (Sun rising up vs Treadstone) which has already been played on the radio and in a few london bars and clubs. Loving it! When asked what is his music style, Gaetan answers : '' It's very hard to define my style as I love mixing anything from sharp electro sounds with world music and minimal to tech house and uplifting house to darker sexy house....It just thrills me to deliver something new and to add a different sound, people love it!'' Gaetan did his first gig @ DTPM @ FABRIC during a competition where he played twice, went to the final. ''I had such a wicked time and was thrilled to play there. I was a bit upset to lose but it gave me the excitement to keep up, improve and I learnt a lot from this amazing experience'' In the meantime, Gaetan djed with Laurent C and Slamma in french parties such as Vava Boum @ the famous PUNK club in Soho, which became a success on the french scene. He also is a guest DJ @ Discotec @ The End Club for the famous Disco Rocks parties, which is a success. Gaetan also told us about ENCORE @ CAFE DE PARIS where he rocked the dance floor. ....Watch out ! Gaetan is an up and coming dj ! ...
