About Me

Chris started playing as a solo performer when a friend (Hi, Kenn) who was running a college coffee house asked him to fill in when an act canceled. (notice that this is in the "third person" even though I'm the one who wrote it! What's with that?)______________________________________________________ ________________________ He was a member of the acoustic band Cuss Gutter and later, Friends, a band that did everything from acoustic rock & folk to country rock & 50s a cappella doo-wop. He went on to be one of the founding members of The Blue Lunch Band, adding 5-string banjo, lap steel & pedal steel guitar to his acoustic guitar & harmonica playing. "The Lunch Band" played venues in Connecticut, Massachusetts & Rhode Island. (Yeah, yeah! Big deal!)______________________________________________________ _________________________ After a bit of a hiatus, Chris, with 6 &/or 12 string guitars & harmonicas, and a mix of cover & original tunes, has started playing solo once again at area venues. He opened Flamig Farm's 2006 "Eggstock" in West Simsbury, CT, reconnected with a "Lunch Band" alumnus to perform at the 2006 Brooklyn Fair and soloed at 2007's Sam Collins Day celebration in Canton, CT. (Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) ____________________________________________________________ __________
