It’s in our Veins!Lee Scheetz and Borderline is one of the newest Texas country bands to hit the scene,. Full of “party crowd†type people, this band has some serious energy. Both covers and original music alike can be expected to blow you away. Lee Scheetz comes out of a band called Gray County Line, where he played guitar and sang music from every era, from Kevin Fowler and Merle Haggard, to George Strait and Lynard Skynard. Stan Wardlow is a smokin’ ex-road band lead guitar player who can play just about anything you ask and we love showin’ him off. Mike Venzor though this is his first band experience, and he can’t get enough of it. From singing and playing acoustic guitar, to bringing life to a dead crowd, we love him. “Stonerâ€, Chad Stoner, our own personal hippie drummer, got off the Road with The Brant Moore Band and has filled a very Important part with us. He’s definitely someone to watch. Diane Dobbins, the Bass chick. Though new to the band, not new to the music scene. She comes out of a Band called “Kracker Jack†and adds awesome range in lead and back-up Vocals. So, when a redneck, a secretary, a welder, and a couple of Hippies all get together and play music. What do you get? Lee Scheetz and Borderline, one of the newest bands on the Texas Country scene. Get ready for some loud Rockabilly style music, mixed with some Southern rock, and a little old country influence to even things out. Though a new band has it’s challenges, we are getting it together, and headlining things all over the area, as well as opening for people such as Kyle Bennett, Fat Dixie ,Tommy Gallagher, Josh Abbott, Brandon Clark, Aaron Watson, No Justice, and Mickey And The Motorcars. As well as playing at events like The Midnight Rodeo, Sudds and Sounds, The Top of Texas Music Revue and every kick ass little bar that likes to here some good Texas Country Music.We look forward to playing for everyone and hopefully you will like our sound. We play anything from Merle Haggard and Aaron Watson to Lynard Skynard and Cross Canadian Ragweed and we have a blast doing it.
