I make guitars the old fashioned way- I make them. By hand. One at a time, with highly figured brazilian rosewood, koa, and mahogany. Each with superior fit, tone, and palyability. A natural beauty you just can't get in a factory made instrument. And options like exotic burl, fossil peghead inlays, unique binding, and distinctive purfiling. If you haven't caught on yet, these aren't the type of instruments you smash on stage after the show. The first thing people say to me is nice wood- No seriously folks that really is the first thing people say to me when they see my guitars. That's because I use only the finest tone woods. The best among them is Brazilian rosewood. Why? First there is the obvious natural beauty. Then, there's it's unmistakable warm bell like tonal qualities. Nothing sounds quite like it. Remember, after the guitars shape and bracing pattern, it's the wood that has the greatest effect on it's tone. And finally since it is now illegal to harvest Brazilian rosewood, there's the rareness of it. Most of my stock is reclaimed wood harvested from the stumps of old growth trees. Which is perfect because the most highly figured wood comes from the crotch area (no really I mean where the trunk meets the root). Built to last I make a guitar that is ment to be in your family for generations. A much better heirloom than a flying V or a skull-shaped double neck.
