Music has been my passion ever since I can remember the first time I layed hands on the keys of a piano. I've written, recorded, and performed hundreds of songs from all kinds of genres... except for rap. I never thought I'd be able to write a rap song. One day while I was in my studio working on another project, All these rhymes and beats started coming to me... so fast I could hardly get them written down in enough time. Before I knew it, a few hours later, my first gospel rap song was birthed. It was a song that encompassed my testimony, and ended up with a prophetic message about my own life in with the mix. It was called "River of Life". Once that song hit plastic, I had rhyme after rhyme, rhythm after rhythm coming to me left and right. That's when I realized that God was calling me into this genre of music. It gives me the freedom to relay whatever message or encouragement that God lays on my heart through poetic rhythm. I still write and perform praise and worship music, both for my personal etification unto God, and also to lead the congregation at my church during the worship service. It's no surprise how God can equip you to do things that you never thought you had the ability to do. We can do all things, and accomplish those that we never thought possible with the love and helping hand of our heavenly Father, and undying support of family and friends.
