Laco Lucenic (born November 23, 1952) is a Slovak musician and music producer, and a member of the famous Slovak bands Fermáta, Prúdy, Modus and Limit. He is also popular for his role as a judge on the Slovak Pop Idol (Slovensko hladá SuperStar).
Growing up during the sixties, he became fascinated by the "electrifying" music of the Beatles, the Kinks, the Rolling Stones and other bands of the time. In his project called "Satisfactory", he plays music from the sixties. In November 2006, the show has been released on a DVD "Satisfactory Live In Concert" under Laco Lucenic's private label doubleL.
As a guitarist, he has played with other Slovak artists such as Pavol Hammel, Marián Varga and Miroslav Zbirka. He has produced albums for Slovak and Czech singers and bands such as HEX, IMT Smile, Peha, Slobodná Európa, Miroslav Zbirka and Marika Gombitová. His own albums "Bodliak na plavkách", "Zastávky na znamenie" and "Svetlo (...a pocit bezpecia)" have now—after a long time—been released as a 2 CD set called "Laco Lucenic Komplet". His seventh studio album "XLL" was released on December 17, 2007.
