Grinning Glasses

About Me

Grinning Glasses is a four-piece band from Racine, Wisconsin, and based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The band was formed in 2004 by Paul Westfahl and Pauly Danyl and has gone through numerous names and line-ups since that time. Currently, despite a brief run featuring the immense talents of guitarist John Thorstad, we operate as a three-o. (yes that is an intentional play on the word trio, we’re not stoopid) with the intention of creating simple and enjoyable music on the local "scenes." We love music that makes you want to jump around, pump your fist in the air and shout out the lyrics along with the band, and we try to incorporate into our sound the gamut of genres that tend to create that feeling. When we play live we pour all of our energy into our music and try to make everyone in the room feel what we do.
