Kevin Myers

Life is great. Since I have graduated from ASU with a marketing degree at the W.P. Carey I have been aggressively pursuing my acting career. While attending my last semester at ASU I was featured in the D-Backs magazine for several months in a Bob Sod grass turf ad. I was also featured as the hottest guy in the September issue of College Affair Magazine (pictures are featured in album). Recently, I have been taking multiple workshops with various Casting Directors (i.e. Paul Weber and Traci Moskowitz), and Coaches (i.e. Molli Benson and Debbie Rosenthal). Molli Benson is an unique women with an incredible gift. In the past year while studying with “Coach” she taught me cold auditions, TV/film acting, believability in acting, and helped me grow more as a person. Debbie is a phenomenal actress who has worked on over 250 commercials. I hope to learn and gain as much knowledge about the industry as I can while still in Arizona. Shortly after graduation I worked for nearly two weeks on a Spike TV production, called “S.I.S.,” as a stand in for a principle character. I was able to network and meet several people including the cast and crew (i.e. Keith David, Peter Stebbings, Matt Noble, Colleen Porch). Someone I truly respected and admired took the time to talk with me a bit and teach me a couple of tricks around set: Conrad Palmisano. He is a great man with a fantastic eye behind the camera (not including his Stunt credentials). I had the opportunity to learn from a great director by the name of John Herzfeld while enjoying a Blue Moon at the wrap party. In April I was fortunate enough to book a principle roll in a commercial/industrial video. I was cast as the lead businessman who was visiting a resort in Dubai. The commercial was with Emaar Hospitality Group and the George Partnership Inc. I had a lot of fun on set and recognized a lot of the crew from the S.I.S. project. I am still continuing to save money and prepare for the L.A. jump.
