I'm 29 years old and living in the Kansas City, MO metro area. I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic/Hazmat Tech for a suburban fire department and love what I do. I've been around the fire service since birth (my dad was a wildland firefighter for the USFS/Leavenworth Ranger District and a volunteer for the town we lived in while we were in Washington State), but I've only been a firefighter for about 10 years. On March 25, 2006, I married my wonderful wife, Mel and became Dad to my wonderful 10 year old daughter, Gabrielle. My family means the world to me, and each day that I am able to come home from work to them is another day that I am thankful for. I'm the oldest of two boys...my brother Jeff is a firefighter in the KC area also.
