About Me

I thought at one time I'd like to be a rock singer and front a band but I finally realized that I couldn't sing. I later found out that most of my friends already knew this of me. Eventually, I did the next-best thing to fronting a rock band...and that was to play other people's music on the radio. I spent most of my career as a rock radio DJ and a radio Programmer.
When I started in radio, we actually played those big vinyl discs that went 'round and 'round at 33-1/3 revolutions per minute and was there when we played our first "CD" on the radio. I still like the sound of those big vinyl discs.
I took a break from radio for 6 years and became Marketing Director and then General Manager of an arena and entertainment complex in the Midwest. Our business was concerts, sporting events, ice shows, trade shows and even some theatrical performances. The opportunity eventually presented itself for me to get back into the broadcasting biz to produce events and other projects for some radio stations in my little piece of the world.
