Vegas Lounge Act

About Me

Vegas Lounge Act is a band consisting of just one man. That one man is me. I play the guitar, bass & drums. My music doesn't really have vocals because I can't sing to save my life. The music is mostly Metal which is what I have been playing for a long time. Metal music was the whole reason I started playing the guitar in the first place.
My main purpose here is just to make songs and have fun. This is why I create so many silly songs that are combinations of old tunes you might know. I have been in bands before in the past and I always enjoyed creating music. Years later up until now, I never lost that passion for creating and playing music so I continue to do so on my own. Sometimes if I want to include a solo in a song though I will contact a friend of mine in Chicago to help me out with it because he is much better at solos than I am.
In my music you might hear some influences coming out. My main influences would be Metallica, Fear Factory, & Dream Theater along with many others.

I exclusively use the following: Jackson Guitars-Seymour Duncan "Dimebucker" Pickups-Mesa/Boogie Triaxis PreAmps-BBE Sonic Maximizer

Guitar sound & the distortion debate

One of the most important things for a guitar player that plays Metal music is their sound.  I think most Metal players want a nice heavy crunch but one that's clear at the same time.  ...
